IgniteX: Accelerating the Transformation to Sustainable Infrastructure

Ignitex is a new accelerator program led by Black & Veatch in partnership with LaunchKC.

We are collaborating with 7 growing, early stage companies to plan, design and execute real-world projects in the clean technology space. These missions will help to bring about the world we want, while also driving mutually beneficial business for the companies and Black & Veatch.

What is the world we want? It’s one where distance and time are no longer limiting factors, where always-on communication takes place, and where everyone is digitally connected … Where we have enough food, clean water and clean air for the growing population. Where your imagination is the only limit to what you can make real.

Check out this video featuring B&V program leaders Hyleme George and Tyler Parker, and find out how you can get involved!

Ways to Get Involved:

  • Attend our Spark Hour, September 19. Connect live with the Ignitex teams. (The invitation should have recently landed in your inbox. Please contact Sarah Ruhl if you need it sent again.)

  • Save the Date for Demo Day, November 13. See the final project report-outs and find out what’s next for the program.

  • Volunteer. We’re always looking for help with Growth Accelerator initiatives from our B&V fam. If you want to contribute your time and ideas to innovating at Black & Veatch, reach out to Sarah Ruhl today!
